Tasting Room FAQ

Do you offer vineyard and winery tours?
Private vineyard, winery and/or farm tours are available by appointment only. All inquiries should be sent directly to Erin Harrison via email info@mtbeautiful.co.nz.

Is food available for purchase?
One of the benefits of being adjoined to the Two Rivers Cafe is that wine tasters can order from their menu and enjoy meals seated in the Mt. Beautiful Tasting Room while experiencing Mt. Beautiful wines. It is recommended that larger groups call in ahead of time so platters can be available upon arrival.

Can you accommodate large groups?
For groups larger than 10 we recommend making a reservation. Inquiries can be emailed to tastingroom@mtbeautiful.co.nz or guests may call the Tasting Room at +64 3 319 8155.

Is the Tasting Room suitable for families with young children?
For liquor licensing purposes, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The café and outdoor area is not restricted, therefore children have space to play in the outdoor seating area, indoor seating area or on the mezzanine level.

Are dogs allowed?

We encourage well behaved furry friends and will even bring out a bowl of water to keep them hydrated. In addition, there's a grassy open area across the road if they need to strecth their legs.

What merchandise is available for purchase?
A small selection of Mt. Beautiful branded keepsakes - including high quality Speigleau stemware, locally made treats and wine accessories are available for purchase.
